Counselling Supervision

Who I Work With

I work with both trainee and qualified counsellors and enjoy supporting therapists at different stages of their professional development.

Alongside my supervision work, I have been in private practice for over 10 years. My experience includes working within educational settings and specialist trauma services, supporting clients with a wide range of presenting difficulties, including trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD. I understand the realities of building and maintaining a practice, from managing a caseload and navigating ethical dilemmas to developing confidence in your clinical work.

Many of my supervisees are trainee counsellors completing placements and working towards qualification. I have experience supporting students across a range of training providers and awarding bodies, including CPCAB. Having previously been a member of the NCPS and now an Accredited Member of the BACP, I appreciate the different expectations and pathways therapists may be working within.

My professional background also includes six years working as a school counsellor and a Level 5 qualification in Counselling Children and Young People. Whilst I no longer work directly with CYP, this experience continues to inform my understanding of safeguarding, educational settings and wider systemic influences.

My supervision practice is informed by the Cyclical Model. Above all, I aim to offer a collaborative and supportive space where we can think together about your client work, celebrate what is going well and explore any challenges that arise in practice.
